This tuna salad has sweet, savory, and citrus flavors, from our sour lemon
pepper seasoning combined in one easy dish that will send your tastebuds
diving through the sea!
Ingredients
For the Tuna Salad-
5 cans of White Albacore Tuna, drained
1/2 cup of Celery, diced
1/2 cup of Red Onion, diced
4 Tbsp of whole dried Cranberries
3 Tbsp of whole Dill Pickles, diced
1/2 of a Lemon, juiced
3 Tbsp of Roasted Red Pepper spread (Lutenica or Ajvar)
1/2 a Cup of Mayonnaise
2 Tsp of Dijon Mustard
1/2 Tsp of Garlic Salt
1 Tsp of Sour Lemon Pepper seasoning, Mom Cave Foods
Pita chips or Tortilla chips
Directions
Step 1
Start by slicing off the end of the celery, toss that aside, and cut
straight across the celery to create halves, then begin to dice the celery
and set it aside. Repeat the process with red onion and whole pickles to
create small, diced pieces and set aside. Next, using a small metal drainer,
squeeze the liquid out of each tuna can, making sure the tuna is liquid-free
and dry.
Step 2
In a medium-sized bowl, start by adding 5 cans of the drained tuna,
1/2 cup of diced celery, 1/2 cup of diced red onion, 4 Tbsp of dried
cranberries, 3 Tbsp of diced pickles, 3 Tbsp of roasted red pepper spread,
1/2 Cup of mayonnaise, 2 Tsp of Dijon mustard and squeeze the juice of 1/2
a fresh lemon. Mix all the ingredients together with a fork, breaking apart
the tuna. Next, add 1/2 Tsp of garlic salt and 1 Tsp of Sour Lemon Pepper
seasoning into the bowl, Mix until the tuna is well coated. Serve with a side
of pita or tortilla chips and enjoy!
